Elementary Teacher Requests

LCCS provides current parents with the ability to request the which teacher their child(ren) will have for the upcoming school year.  To make a request, parents must complete and submit the Teacher Request Form.  Completed forms should be returned to the child(ren)'s current teacher.

The current teachers make class lists for the coming year. The classroom teachers are the ones that truly know the class dynamics and best understand each student's academic ability and social interactions. While LCCS values parent input, current classroom teachers will make the final decisions about class lists. 

Please understand that it is not possible to honor all request and still keep the classroom balance of boys and girls, abilities, and positive social relationships.  Personnel changes may also impact class assignments if a new teacher is hired or there is an additional section added.  Additional enrollment over the summer can also impact a class list.

All teachers are well qualified at LCCS.  They desire to develop positive relationships with students and their parents.  Class lists are prayerfully constructed.  Students at each grade level attend LCCS in God’s good providence and their class placement is ultimately in His control.
