College Credit PlusOhio’s College Credit Plus can help you earn college and high school credits at the same time by taking college courses from community colleges or universities. The purpose of this program is to promote rigorous academic pursuits and to provide a wide variety of options to college-ready students. Taking a college course from a public college or university is free. That means no cost for tuition, books or fees. If you choose to attend a private college or university, you may have limited costs.  This program is available to students who will be in grades 7-12 next year and meet the application requirements of a college or university. (GPA, ACT, etc.) LCCS offers several College Credit Plus courses (CCP) per year on our campus.  We offer 27 credits.  A CCP course is a college level course taught at LCCS for both high school and college credit. Courses are designated on the high school transcript by a CCP and use the CCP/AP grading scale. Colleges may include Bluffton University, Cedarville University, and Malone University.  Additional information can be found on the LCCS website under the Academics tab in the Guidance section.
