In July, Lake Center Christian School (LCCS) named Phil Budervic as the new Varsity Men's Basketball Head Coach.  “We’re excited about the experience and excitement Coach Budervic will bring to the LCCS Men's Basketball Program and school as a whole,” said Shane Byler, LCCS Athletic Director.

Byler, who had previously served as head coach, announced the position opening this past spring--after a record setting year.  “I am confident that my decision to step down from the role of head coach will give our team the chance to grow.  I believe that Coach Budervic  is the right man to take our program to the next level,” said  Byler.

Budervic is a graduate of Malone University, and brings over twelve years of coaching experience at the high school and collegiate levels. His head coaching experiences include stints at St. John Lutheran HS in Ocala, Florida, Trinity Catholic HS in Ocala, Florida, and his most recent role at Silver Lake College in Manitowoc, Wisconsin. He currently resides in Alliance, OH, with his wife, Sheila.
